Logistics Coordinator

Job Details

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing adequate support to customers, purchasing & logistics department and sales staff in handling material in the warehouse, coordinates for received shipments and support LCM Administrator for cost processing, process material insurance claims at assigned location, receiving material reports reconciliation and maintaining warehouse filing system.

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Receive materials from suppliers.
- Check supplier’s material quantity and quality of materials.
- Arrange delivery to customers.
- Prepare requests for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Unload shipments, operate forklift, check materials for accuracy.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Implement salvage of damaged or used materials as per w/h supervisor instructor.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
- Place all types of materials according to their types and brands in appropriate shelves.
- Participate in planning personnel safety and warehouse protection activities.
- Maintain physical security of the warehouse and stocks in it.
- Keep workplace and warehouse clean and tidy.
