Job Purpose:
Developing the most suitable sequence for operations for a particular project/ projects, in coordination with the Planning Manager, in addition to planning and overseeing the entire program of work; anticipate a project's demands in terms of labor, materials, equipment and technical requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Coordinating information for creating unique Program for individual Projects using Primavera.
· Preparation of Project Budget & Calculation of detailed man-hours, machine hours, etc.
· Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones.
· Lead the planning team to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of operations for different projects.
· Anticipate a contract's / project(s) demand in terms of labor, materials, equipment and technical challenges etc…
· Working with the team to draw up plans and presenting schedules of work
· Utilize a systematic approach to monitor and control the project costs in accordance with the established budget after the design has been finalized.
· To monitor, analyze, control and report current and forecast progress and manpower histograms against approved contract schedules to enable project and corporate management to ensure that final project turnover dates are within the approved contract schedule. Ensure the project is executed to the project management practices and the requirements with in the contract.

· Coordinate with legal and commercial department regarding potential claims.
· Resource Loading in Primavera for individual Projects.
· Preparation of man power Calculation & utilization schedule.
· Preparation of recovery program to catch up delays.
· Preparation of short term detailed schedule based on baseline schedule.
· Regularly performs supervisory tasks and are responsible for making evaluation.
· Consider the costs and possibilities of reducing them without compromising quality or safety.
· Determine the best ways to move materials, machinery and equipment between locations, and coordinate all the resources.
· To interface with project site management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks.
· Undertake the planning and resource loading for the assigned work scope(s), giving proactive, effective advice on the feasibility of plans, the impact of any changes and any required mitigating actions.
· Assessing risk to delivery of schedules, recommending risk reducing actions where required.
· Preparation of work breakdown structures to enable the associated resource and cost budgets.
· Support the schedule change control requirements within the project/area team, analyzing the change for its potential impact and advising on the correct course of mitigating action.
· Interact with other work pack planning staff in order to maintain the logic between deliverables in major projects & where necessary establish recovery plans.
· Preparation of work breakdown structures to enable the associated resource and cost budgets.
· Personally responsible for the quality of their work, whilst making a positive contribution to the quality of both the department and the work carried out by the colleagues.
· Assess the workload of each member of the teams in the Architectural Section and other Sections at any point of time and/or when required to justify an Overtime Request from any of the Employee.
· As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.


Skill:

Technical Knowledge & Skill:
· Sound specific experience in project planning and scheduling.
· Must be experienced in project control tool included and not limited to data analysis, Earned Value analysis, and delays analysis.
· Experience of Schedule Risk analysis will be an added advantage.
· Experience of Claims analysis, in particular Time Impact and Critical Path Analysis, Collapsed-as built and windows methods.
· Preferable to have experience in resource histograms preparation and chart planning.

Computer Skills:
· Proficient in MS Office applications, Auto-CAD, with ERP experience.
· Primavera 6 Certified & MS-Projects.
